Hello! I'm Laura.
A thought partner for
entrepreneurs & executives.

You know how to execute and build things. You’ve had success, but something’s shifted and you can’t see a clear path forward.

Maybe you’re stuck in a role that no longer fits. Maybe you’re leading a team and can’t seem to shake persistent challenges (with your people, your organization, or even yourself). Or maybe your personal life is starting to shift and you want to be intentional about your time.

There are a lot of moving parts.

You have an idea of what you want, but you can’t see a clear path forward. You want to be intentional and feel…

  • clear on what’s next with a path to get there

  • great about the decisions you’re making

  • excited and confident

  • on track with your career, business and life

  • at peace with how you’re spending your time in work and life

  • less alone and more supported

  • unstuck and like you’re making real progress

I can help.

I partner with entrepreneurs and senior executives to cut through the noise, clarify what’s next, and build the career, business and life they want while feeling confident, at peace, and supported along the way.

With 16 years in senior operations roles at startups and small businesses, engineering and MBA degrees, and 9 years of full-time coaching, I bring deep empathy, collaborative thought partnership, business know-how, and tactical support to coaching. We look at the whole picture - not just your goals, but how your life actually feels - and build a realistic path that fits where you are now.

Every engagement starts with a free discovery call. No pressure to move forward - just a safe space to get clarity and see what’s next. If it’s not a fit for my coaching, I’ll likely have resources and other coaches to send your way.

I strongly recommend Laura as coach, particularly for individuals navigating professional and personal transitions and those seeking guidance as they take on leadership opportunities.

About Me

My career and business trajectory have never been linear. I’ve learned to navigate transitions without a ladder, in a fast changing world with a lot of uncertainty.

My dad was a car guy, through and through. He nudged me towards engineering as a way to train my brain how to see the world and solve problems, so I studied Mechanical Engineering at Duke. One year in, while I loved the classes, I knew a career calibrating brakes or crunching numbers wasn’t for me. A summer at a venture firm led to a love of working with small businesses and a longing to work for myself one day. So when I graduated 2005, with no career center support for non-traditional paths, I had to carve my own path.

I spent the next 16+ years in operations, working directly for and with founders of SMB businesses and startups, managing over 500 people, and getting my MBA at Kellogg in the middle with a focus on Management & Organizations and Entrepreneurship. I loved the people, ambiguity, creativity and ability to see the impact I was having almost daily. But I ended up burnt out and not excited.

Coaching was born out of my own murky transition that took months - it was one of many experiments I ran in the search for my next chapter. I loved it and have been coaching full-time since 2017.

My coaching style comes from a mix of my background. I approach problems with a wholistic view of work and life. We look at all the pieces with a mix of empathy, thought partnership, and practical solutions to move you forward.

Aside from one-on-one coaching, I was the in-house coach at Studs from Seed Stage to Series B, co-founded Crabwalk to teach the core soft skills needed to navigate any work transition, and helped launch Parentaly to coach expecting parents through parental leave.

I’ve learned to navigate my career, business and life when the path forward isn’t clear. I can help you do the same.
