Hello! I'm Laura.
A thought partner for entrepreneurs & executives through transitions.

You’ve had success. But something’s shifted. You’re a founder, entrepreneur, or senior leader at an inflection point — maybe you’re considering a career change, leveling up into a new role, and/or expanding your family. There are a lot of moving parts.

You have an idea of what you want, but it feels murky. There’s uncertainty and the path forward isn’t clear. You want to be intentional.

You want to feel…

  • excited and confident at work again

  • on track with your career and life goals

  • great about how you’re spending your time

  • less alone and more supported

  • unstuck

I can help.

I partner with leaders in transition to cut through the noise, get clarity, and build the job, business and life they want next.

With 16 years in senior operations roles at startups and small businesses, engineering and MBA degrees, and 8 years of full-time coaching, I bring deep empathy, business know-how, and tactical support to coaching. We look at the whole picture — not just your goals, but how your life actually feels — and build a realistic, practical path that fits.

Every engagement starts with a free discovery call. No pressure to move forward — just a safe space to get clarity and see what’s next.

Read about some clients…

  • We worked together as she transitioned into, and out of being an interim startup CEO, got clarity on her next chapter, got an entrepreneurial job within a large organization, and navigated two parental leaves while being promoted multiple times.

  • We worked through fast-changing team dynamics, overlapping parental leaves, interpersonal conflicts grounded in a deeply respectful relationship, and the smooth departure of one co-founder after 5 years.

  • We defined what an ideal next chapter would look like in work and life, hired and trained a new team, and upgraded internal processes so he could focus more on the work that sparked joy both in his firm and with other businesses and passion projects.

  • He changed how he managed a difficult investor, finished his round of funding, hired key people, and rebooted how he worked day-to-day while charting a path to an exit.

  • As his company grew 5x, we developed his leadership style, upgraded key skills, and ultimately navigated a smooth exit from the company.

About Me

My career path has never been linear. I’ve learned to navigate it without a ladder, in a fast changing world.

My dad was a car guy, so I started by studying Mechanical Engineering at Duke at his recommendation. One year in, while I loved the classes, I knew a career calibrating brakes or crunching numbers wasn’t for me. A summer at a venture firm led to a love of working in small businesses and a longing to work for myself one day. So in 2005, I had to carve my own path towards that.

I spent the next 16+ years in operations, working directly for and with founders of SMB businesses and startups, managing over 500 people, and getting my MBA at Kellogg in the middle.

Coaching was born out of my own murky transition - one of many experiments run in the search for my next chapter. I loved it and have been coaching full-time since 2017.

Aside from one-on-one coaching, I was the in-house coach at Studs from Seed Stage to Series B, co-founded Crabwalk to teach the core soft skills needed to navigate any work transition, and helped launch Parentaly to coach expecting parents through parental leave.

I’ve learned to navigate my career and life when the path forward isn’t clear. I can help you do the same.
